The AFRICA INNOVATIVE MINDS.com public competition project

Welcome to the first in a series of competitions hosted by ProudNigerian.com and co-sponsored by PerrySolution Nig. LTD.

Introduction And Prizes
These competitions will be staged continuously to challenge Nigerians in areas of Technology, Art, Fashion, Music and the like, and with an ultimate goal of spearheading revolutionary developmental success of our talented minds, Nigeria, Africa and the world at large.

Winners and runners-up will receive cash prizes up to N150,000 or more depending on sponsor support as the program moves on, and promotion of their products or services in local and international media. Winners projects also stand to be financially supported and assisted in development and full commercialization. Participation recognition certificates and gifts will also be distributed. Beware, this may make you a legend!

Participation
Everyone can participate. There are three levels of participation:
1. Contestants can submit their designs/propositions which may be drawings, pictures, or items presented at our office locations for testing/inspection. All submissions should be made by emailing- AIM@ ProudNigerian.com

2. Sponsors and potential investors willing to purchase and/or promote winning, great products and models can also email AIM@ ProudNigerian.com

3. The rest will assist in selecting winners, by voting in polls on ProudNigerian.com of contestant submissions. Your vote will be highly appreciated in helping us impartially select the winners and greatest minds and designers to develop Nigeria.

COMPETITION #1- ALTERNATE ENERGY SOLUTIONS

Final date for submissions- August 19 2009

The world is at crossroads in energy production. Nigeria particularly has the greatest need of alternate energy solutions- wind, solar, water or biological.

Please submit outlines of PRACTICAL, COST-EFFICIENT, EFFECTIVE & DURABLE power production systems that can preferably be designed primarily from Nigerian materials, but utilization of imported material is also OK, as long as you research and confirm the reliable, cheap sourcing of these(which if you are a winner or runner up, PerrySolution Nig. LTD will help you import to make your project a Nigerian commercial reality) that can be produced for either personal/home, business or large scale industrial use as alternate power generation systems. Small or large models, the comparative efficiency, durability and reliability is what will be graded.

Submissions are to be sent, no later than August 19 2009 to AIM@ ProudNigerian.com. There is a cap on submissions to be accepted, so try to submit on time.

You may request our inspectors visit your site where such technology is in place to inspect it on site.
