Your Elevation Today - Colossians 3:12 NKJV
TUES “The deaf can hear it; the blind can see it.”
KINDNESS : The act of being affectionate, considerate and
loving; having a sympathetic or helpful nature; showing
warmth and friendliness.
TheWord: Colossians 3:12
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels
of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness,
longsuffering;
DigDeeper : Romans 12:10; Luke 10: 25-37; Galatians 5:22

Think about it:
* Remember an act of kindness that you have experienced.
How did you feel at that moment?
* Where/when have you refrained from performing an act of
kindness? Why did you act that way?
* Do you think you might be too calculating? Can you be kind
without expecting something in return?
Speak to the Lord… and ask for His grace to help you
manifest His kindness. Ask Him to help you deal with any hurt,
pain or anger that stops you from bearing the fruit of kindness.
Pray that you will not miss the opportunity to express His
kindness this week and beyond.
Pen & Paper: In what ways will you show kindness today? Join
forces with the Holy Ghost to be kind to every single person
you meet today, no matter what circumstance the devil throws
your way.

Your Elevation Today - Nehemiah
8:10 NKJV

WED “The world didn’t give it, the world
can’t take it!”

JOY: A feeling of great pleasure, success,
extreme happiness, satisfaction, radiance,
exuberance, ‘cloud nine’ and triumph.
The Word: Nehemiah 8:10
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat
the fat, and drink the sweet, and send
portions unto them for whom nothing is
prepared: for this day is holy unto our
Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of
the LORD is your strength.
Dig Deeper : Acts 13: 50-52; Galatians 5:
22; James 1: 2-3; Nehemiah 8:10

Think about it:
* How can I get strength from joy?
* Can I truly remain joyful when under
pressure?
* How do I prevent events/situations
happening around me from stealing my
joy?
Speak to the Lord… and speak to Him
about the things that weigh you down and
cast those cares upon Him. Ask Him to
exchange those burdens for a merry
heart. A merry heart does good like
medicine: but a broken spirit dries the
bones. (Proverbs 17: 22)
Pen & Paper : Write down common things
that steal your joy and plot an anti-joy
theft cause of action. E.g. when someone
cuts me off in traffic, I will not curse or
get bitter, but rather, I will let out a
shout of praise

Your Elevation Today - 3 John
1:2 NKJV
THURS “God is my shepherd, I don’t
need a thing!”
PROSPERITY: Being successful or thriving;
having economic well-being. Flourishing,
being of good fortune, having good social
status. Includes the condition of
flourishing in spirit, soul and body (good
health).

The Word: 3 John 1:2
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou
mayest prosper and be in health, even as
thy soul prospereth.
Dig Deeper :Deuteronomy 8: 1-18, 28:
1-14; Psalm 1:1-3; 2 Corinthians 9: 6-11
Think about it:
* How can my soul prosper? What does it
even mean for my soul to prosper?
* How can I prosper financially in the
face of a corrupt system and harsh
economic conditions?
* Can I have a successful social status, be
rich and remain humble?
Speak to the Lord… about the covenant
of prosperity that He has made with you.
Ask Him to grant you the grace to search
out and obey the terms of the covenant
and attain God given prosperity.
Pen & Paper: Have you been afraid to
prosper? List the promises of prosperity
God has made to you in Deuteronomy 28
and apply them to your own life using
today’s words. E.g. where you have
barns, use bank accounts or holdings.

Speak to the Lord… and tell Him that
you want to rely on Him for good health
and long life. If you have any sickness or

take place or happen in the future.
The Word: Rom 4:18-20

become the father of many nations, according to that which
was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith,
he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about
an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's

Your Elevation Today - Romans 12:6-8
TUES: “...and He gave gifts to men”
GIFT: A thing (a present) willingly given to someone without payment;
a bequest. It is also a notable ability or capacity; a natural endowment;
a talent.
The Word:Romans 12: 6-8
So we are to use our different gifts in accordance with the grace
that God has given us. If our gift is to speak God's message, we should
do it according to the faith that we have; if it is to serve, we should
serve; if it is to teach, we should teach; if it is to encourage others,
we should do so. Whoever shares with others should do it generously;
whoever has authority should work hard; whoever shows kindness to
others should do it cheerfully.
Dig Deeper:
Matthew 25: 14-30; Romans 11: 29; 1Peter 4:10.
Think about it:
1. What are my gifts? What am I naturally good at doing?
2. Have I belittled my God-given gifts? Have I left some natural
abilities dormant? Have I been wasting some of the potential God
placed in me?
3. In what ways can other people benefit from my gifts?
Speak to the Lord… “Lord, help me identify my gifts. Open my eyes
to see opportunities where I can use my gifts and talents for your
glory.”
Acts of Service:
Pick a specific gift you have and find a way to utilize it today. It could
be cooking, teaching, being handy with a hammer… anything. Use your
gift to bless someone, ease someone’s efforts or meet someone’s
need.

Your Elevation Today - Matthew 5:5
A Gentle Giant… That’s Me!’
MEEKNESS: The quality of being patient, long-suffering, gentle, mild-
mannered, peaceful, modest, humble, lowly, submissive and obedient.
The Word: Matthew 5:5
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Dig Deeper:
Psalm 25:9; Zephaniah2: 3; Psalm 149: 4; Romans 12: 17-21
Think about it:
What are the benefits of being meek?
What are the things both internal and external that rob me of
meekness?
Nigeria encourages aggression instead of meekness. How can I express
God’s meekness even in such a ‘hostile’ environment?
Speak to the Lord...about all those situations that steal the grace to
be meek and ask for His help in overcoming them. Ask for grace to be
meek but strong in the power of His might.
Acts of Service:
As you go about your business, find ways to be as bold as a lion, yet as
meek as a lamb. Let 1 Corinthians 13 guide you: don’t be brash, rude or
arrogant. Check the way you treat your subordinates, younger ones or
domestic helps. Don’t insist on your own right. Remember that
preferring others in love and exercising self-control is a sign of a
mature minister!.

How can I sharpen my skills so they are more fruitful and profitable?
Speak to the Lord… Thank God for all the skills you have and ask for
direction with regard to using them for His glory. Ask for divine infusion
of power so that your skills will be strengthened and sharpened ‘by
reason of use’.
Acts of Service:
Channel your skills in service to God and to humanity. Speaking skills,
organizational skills, administrative skills, creative skills, management
skills, musical abilities, writing skills, etc.
